Are you having trouble cleaning your watch’s metal strap?

Many people do not realize the importance of regularly cleaning their metal watchband. Not only is a clean band important for your watch's longevity but for your personal hygiene as well. Sweat, dirt, dead skin and dust all descend into the nooks and corners of your watchband, which can cause skin irritation and will also affect the appearance of the timepiece.

Here are few tips that will help you clean the black moisture. Use soft toothbrush or soft microfiber cloth and dampen it with warm water mixed with a drop of soap. Apply soap to the watchband, being very careful to avoid the face of the watch. Wipe your watch at least twice a month. Else you would notice a black buildup in between the links. Allow the watch to air dry. Make sure the watch is completely dry before you wear it.

Use can also use pressurized steam to clean watch bracelets and jewelry.
Be careful with the amount and type of soap you use, because the soap scum might snake its way through the crown threading and under the bezel.

Now is the time to show off your old but new watch!
